Hey there! It’s me! The one clicking away! Just thought I would introduce myself and share with you a little bit about how I got here…
We all know days go by fast and there are no guarantees for tomorrow. That is why I started to take photos years ago, I wanted to capture every moment I could. I have always been the one with the camera at every gathering snapping away at of all those around me. I took my camera everywhere. When I saw something that caught my eye, I clicked – it could be a couple walking down the street at sunset – I clicked. It could be nature at the most beautiful time- I clicked. If I heard a child laughing, I would find them and clicked…I was obsessed. Not only did I enjoy this “hobby” but I LOVED it.
As the years went by, life happened – I became a mom of 4 amazing (stubborn and a pain at times) beautiful daughters, raising them the best I could as a divorced woman. I held a job in the medical field but on the side I continued to shoot my family and for friends. I would capture a first birthday, a sporting event, a reunion, a family portrait, a beautiful sunset, an eagle flying, if I saw it – I would capture the moment.
I always thought if I could do it over, I would be a professional photographer. Then one day a friend asked me why I wasn’t, and that day I began my journey down this path of photography. Working 7 days a week, all day and most nights to give my best to my clients. Here I am today, a divorce woman, mother of 4 (oh and also mom to my 2 furbabies and a fish) who had a passion, which turned into a dream that with hard work and dedication made it a reality and now I own my own business! Why did I ever think IF I could do it all over, truth is I COULD do it over and I did.
Lucky me! I am able to work in a field that I love, in which I put my whole heart into but the best part is I get to meet thousands of people, who many I now call friend. I am lucky aren’t I?
So… lets be friends! Let me help you capture a moment, a moment you want to cherish forever. I do not want to just take your photo, I want to get to know you, your family, your dreams…know your story. I want you get to know me, to trust in me, to feel comfortable, and have the faith and confidence that I will capture who you are and I will hope you will want to come back again and again and have me capture you through all life’s moments!
